A wildlife rehabilitation center in San Rafael, Calif., recently released a trio of birds rescued as babies in the spring. A video shared by WildCare shows volunteer Zoe Anderson opening a small box and releasing three small finches, and they fly away in slow motion. Anderson rescued a house finch earlier this year, and released it along with two other rescues raised in the same enclosure, the organization said. “When Wildlife Baby Season is over, late summer and early fall can feel like Wildlife Release Season as so many of our spring and summer babies are graduating to life in the wild,” WildCare wrote alongside the video on Facebook. “Fly free finches! Big thanks to Zoe for rescuing and releasing them.”
