Much of the U.K. is under a Red Extreme Heat warning Monday and Tuesday as an unprecedented heat wave breaks temperature records across Europe. Health officials are warning Britons that the heat could become life-threatening, and advise staying out of the sun from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and staying hydrated. Farm animals and pets across the U.K. are also in need of special care. A video shared on Saturday by Wildwood Escot, a charity dedicated to rewilding Devon, in southwestern England, shows a wild boar soaking soaking its snout and wallowing in the mud. Even in this crazy hot weather our wild boar are not keen on a shower. However, they do appreciate a cool snout, Wildwood Escot tweeted alongside the video. A caretaker can be seen spraying a hose toward the boar. One ignores it, while the other seems to enjoy the cool stream on its snout. The boar are in a shaded area, and can be seen nosing around in the mud. Temperatures at Wildwood Escot only reached about 88 degrees on Monday. London reached 98 degrees, with Tuesday temperatures forecast to reach 102 degrees.
