The Asian elephants at the Oregon Zoo in Portland celebrated sunny weather with a swim over the weekend.
A video shared by the zoo shows 14-year-old Samudra splashing in his habitats large pool and diving under water. Samudra uses his trunk and forelimbs to make huge splashes and waves.
Samudra was born at the zoo in 2008 to parents Rose-Tu and Tusko, and now lives in a herd of five Asian elephants.
According to the zoo, the elephants swim 12 months a year. The Elephant Lands exhibit, completed in 2015, features three interconnected outdoor spaces with feeding stations, mud wallows and water features. It also connects to Forest Hall, one of the worlds largest indoor elephant spaces, according to the zoo.
