An animal rescue organization that airlifts animals in danger of being euthanized recently rescued 26 dogs from Texas.A video shared by Pilots to the Rescue shows a mother and her puppies in a small shelter near the plane that carried them from Beaumont, Texas. The video shows several more crates filled with doberman and Labrador puppies. A total of 26 dogs were saved, mostly puppies.Pilots to the Rescue is a nonprofit volunteer organization that flies to rescue mostly domestic animals from euthanasia, but also some wildlife. The volunteer pilot for this mission, Victor Girgenti, flew his own Eclipse jet.The dogs were picked up by Amazing Mutts Puppy Rescue, a nonprofit that saves dogs from high-kill shelters. Amazing Mutts employees drove from New Jersey to Republic Airport in East Farmingdale, N.Y. to retrieve the animals, which will be put up for adoption.
