The Houston Zoo in Texas shared a video of some of its moon jellies on Thursday in celebration of World Jellyfish Day.
The moon jelly, named for its circular, moon-like bell, can be found in the waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans. Their tentacles produce a minor sting, according to the zoo.
Visitors can see the sea creatures in the zoos Carruth Natural Encounters exhibit, which houses animals from a variety of habitats in an indoor environment with trees and waterfalls. The moon jellies can be seen alongside meerkats, white-faced Saki monkeys, red-bellied piranhas and Asian small-clawed otters.
